雅 -MIYAVI- concerts

so...they were awesome. [warning: long post and lots of CAPS use]
i went to one in LA at Club Nokia with kelly and amanda on saturday. we were so laid-back about it. usually we wanna be near the front of the line and camp all day. but this time? eh. we showed up around 7:30 i think [bridgette was a little late] and even when we got there we didn't get in line. we just hung around talking to ppl and only got in line when the line started moving.
inside, we stood behind the tech area and had a pretty good view. amanda was absolutely hilarious towards the end with ramon's jacket. she looked like a retarded little child. me and kelly were literally on the floor laughing. and she had no idea why.
oh! haha also, i saw these two people i watch on youtube and pretty much spazzed. i'm pathetic. i finally got the courage to go up to them and say hi when we were inside. we basically stood right next to them by the tech area. yeahh...haha the girl was really pretty [and freakin tall in those shoes] but she was nice and asked for my youtube name since she's going to make a video for all those ppl she met at the concert.
anyways, the concert was cool. the words i keep using to describe it are 'chill' and 'jazzy'. he took some of his older songs and reworked them to sound different, adding some keyboard stuff. sounded really different and cool. "ame ni utaeba" has been in my head ever since i woke up today.
afterwards, we saw andrew and talked with him and a few other ppl outside the venue. we ended up going to kouraku on 2nd st. i was so tired. we finally left at 2am.

OMG update

i got into my bio class!!!

i check my email when i get to work and i have a waitlist notification email. from #18 to enrolled OVERNIGHT!!!　that's so cool. i dropped my backup bio class. now only if sign language would work that way too.

also, we have another person in our room for AX. it's this boy kelly is crushing on, haha. that lowered the price a little...but not enough when i have to pay for parking >_<

anyways. that's about it. oh, i also found this cute romper/one piece on charlotte russe. i got an email saying 25% off all rompers and dresses. it looks so soft and comfy to lounge around in. and i've wanted a romper. maybe i can convince my mom to get it for me since it's only about $12 after the discount. and with tax and shipping, it'll come out to about the regular price it's selling at.

but yeah. how freakin' exciting. gareth's brother's girlfriend won tickets at tune in tokyo. they're for the concert on sunday, 13th. apparently it's 2nd row? i don't know how that's working. i thought it would just be a general floor area with pit. at least on the grove of anaheim website it shows "general admission standing" for all 5 tiers. that's alot of tiers. me and kelly are going together. =]

we're also going to his concert the night before at club nokia in downtown. haha two of his concerts in a row. that's going to be tiring but fun.

so it's june. now AX is officially less than one month away. of course, ax has to keep up with its ridiculousness by announcing LAST EFFING MINUTE that the shuttles will not be free this year. sorry george, but we're going to walk if that's okay with you. i can't afford that plus parking. -__-

since it's june, i changed my design! now it's blue. ever since i was little, i associated a certain color with every month. for some reason, june is blue. july is either red/white/blue or a light-ish blue. i don't know what august is. it's my birthday month and i don't have a color for it. i guess it was any sort of summery color. kind of like sunsetting colors because it's towards the end of summer.

this saturday is a hangout day for me, kelly, and amanda. we were supposed to go shopping for my outfit...but i've been finding pieces for it here and there so there's not much i really need from the places we were planning to go to. maybe the fashion district. or we can just hang out and run errands or whatever.
sunday, me and kelly are counting at the SAPS fiesta. yay for yummy food.

as for my waitlisted class updates...
i am #5 for sign language [was #6]. OMG i JUST checked it and it was #5. right when i was about to say that it's never going to change and that i'll never get in. actually, i still don't think i'll get in T__T
i am #18 for preferred bio [was #26]. that was from the last entry. it's been slowly lowering and i saw it at #19.
i'm still waiting to drop my backup bio until the last minute. i need to pay a fee for that class by the 11th. at least i think it's for that class. i'll have to look into that. maybe it's just more fees for the school.
i also signed up for the facilitation class and i signed up for a cardio class. i'll have to find more classes to enroll in if/when i don't get into those two waitlisted classes.

OH! and i almost forgot another cool thing. gareth won tickets to the private preview party thing for World of Color. omg i am so excited. he got 4 tickets and was nice enough to invite me, george, kelly and shou since he's part of another set that his brother won. i swear those ppl are so lucky. it's next tuesday after the park closes. i have no idea what's going to happen but i'm just so excited.

i am done with the spring semester!!!!

well, almost xD. i have one more easy, take-home final to do and go turn in on monday. ugh.
also! THEY CANCELLED MY SUMMER COURSE!!!! >=O damn them. i emailed the teacher and she said she even offered to get less pay but they cancelled it anyway. there wasn't enough enrolled. i don't know exactly how many ppl there were, but it was less than 25 [the minimum i guess].
now i'm terrified to take this class during the regular school year. i was so prepared to go to school after work, i'd still have my fridays and weekends. i was prepared to do a little bit of writing each night. now i have to stress and probably write A LOT MORE during the semester. T___________________T
seriously? there goes the rest of my gpa. god damn you csulb.

but on a lighter note, i do not have school for the next three months. i am planning a costume/outfit for ax. i'm wanting to hurry up and plan my birthday but it's still a little ways away. happy sigh.

i'm going out with lily to the mall today to search for hotpants for my outfit. hopefully i find something. if not, i just hope we laugh a lot.

almost done...

so the semester is finally coming to a close.

it feels REALLY weird. i could swear that the first week of school was just last week. i remember it so clearly. it's crazy how time flies. finals are next week. sigh.

then right after that i start summer school. ugh. i'm trying to look on the positive side of this. it's for my major, it's a required capstone, and it's a lot shorter than a semester. the thing is, i'm scared it's going to kick my butt since it is capstone and it's only a 3 week course. hopefully the writing won't be that bad. =/

and for the update on my classes:
i am now #6 for sign language [was #7].
i am now #26 for preferred bio [was #29].
i am now enrolled in backup bio.

thing is, my backup bio interferes with sign language and i don't know what'll happen if i actually get in sign language. i don't know if it'll hold the spot and let me know or if it'll see that i can't enroll and just skip me and all this was for nothing. SO. what i'm going to do is if and when sign language gets to be number 1 or 2, i'll drop my bio lab [that one thats in the way, the lecture is fine] so if i can get in, there'll be nothing in the way. hopefully that wasn't confusing.
also, i might facilitate for the women and their bodies course next semester. i had a lot of fun with my facilitation group and i think it'd be interesting to lead my own group. but that's still up in the air. depends what i get into and if i have the time. 

oh! and i got inspiration for a cool outfit to wear at ax. i got the idea at like 2am when i woke up and haven't been able to stop thinking about it. it's from a miley cyrus music video and it just looks cool. it doesn't require a whole lot of sewing and i think i can get away with just laying clothes and crafting accessories together. hopefully i'll stick with it and be able to complete it by ax. =]

furlough, massage, & class update

so today was a campus-wide furlough day.

that cut my week short and allowed me and my mom to finally set an appt to get our massages.
we're going to burke williams in orange and i'm excited/nervous. i've never been to a massage place and this one is super nice. as long as i get to keep my undies on, i'm fine.

also, to update on my waitlisted classes:
i am now #7 for sign language [was #8].
i am now #7 for backup bio [was #11].
i am now #29 for preferred bio [was #30].
i'll most likely get into my backup bio if anything. hopefully. i'm still waiting it out for sign language. they don't usually cut the waitlist until maybe early august i think. it's probably near impossible to get the bio class i really want, but eh.
hopefully i can still add last minute classes when i get cut and my schedule is open.

bats day

so yesterday was bats day at disneyland.
it was fun. me and kelly dressed up all cute and waited around doing alot of wandering until more ppl showed up. first it was katch and gareth [but gareth ran off with his brother]. we hung out with katch while she did her pin trading and then ate a light lunch. while she was doing some more pin trading, raven showed up for about 10 seconds then left again to do PR work. then henry and mouse showed up and not long after, amanda finally arrived. we relocated and katch did some more pin trading. the parade was starting on main street so we had fun dancing around and then danced our way to plaza inn where we got 2 different pins from 2 different ppl in about 2 minutes. the "celebrating" pin and "disneyland honorary member" or something like that.
after mouse had her pasta we went to meet katch and henry near haunted mansion. we looked around in shops, took pictures, and eventually went on indiana jones. me, kelly and amanda sat down on main street to wait for fireworks. after fireworks, we find katch again and raven makes another short appearance. after raven and katch run off, we all get something to eat plaza inn. gareth joins us and mouse leaves. we stay there and talk about all kinds of things for about an hour.
me and kelly get our coats from the lockers and meet up with katch and raven again. raven runs off with 20 mins left before the park closes and we loiter by the bathrooms talking. we finally get on the tram, say bye, get to our car and go home.
i was tired. i'll post a couple pictures later. [maybe. if i remember. if not, just look at facebook]. eh, here's just one picture.

i also changed the design again. not that anyone ever really uses this anymore. i don't know why i chose the little cappuccino. may's not really spring, not really summer. and little coffee shops are cute.
so, from my last ranting post: i am now #8 on the waitlist for signlanguage [was #9]. i am now #30 for my preferred bio [was #32]. i am now #11 on my backup bio class [don't really remember, but i swear it was #2]. which i don't understand how that works. i don't get how the classes are grouped together. when i registered for the lecture, it was open and i SHOULD'VE gotten in. now they're both completely closed so i just have to hope the spots open. if not, i can't take a science next semester. WHY??? WHY DAMMIT, WHY???
i hate school.
