a little update

since i've been super lazy to update after every event.

so ALA was pretty fun. first con where i didn't buy a badge so i think we got our money's worth spending time in the hotel room. i even went to the pool for the first time xD amanda let me borrow a bathing suit and the water was heated so it was nice. after ALA me, kelly, amanda, jun and jeremy went to the bridge and then cue. it was a nice weekend.

i honestly don't remember what i did last week. oh i saw Avatar. that was a pretty cool movie. totally reminded me of pocahontas. it'll be fun watching the extras and behind the scenes stuff for it.

monday was me and george's 22 months but we didn't hang out. he went to the conan rally in...i don't know what city. everyone knows what it is. yesterday we went to the Wizards of Waverly Place taping. that was so cool. aside from the annoying, obnoxious teens a couple rows behind us, it was fun. at the end, i even got a picture with jennifer stone since she was super nice and came up into the bleachers where the non-vip people were. i also got a picture with david henry thanks to this nice guy george made friends with in line. we borrowed his camera since we didn't know you could bring in cameras/phones to use after the taping. now we know if there's a second time, haha.

it's been raining like crazy this week. it's always pouring in the morning and then clears up in the afternoon. today it hasn't actually rained yet in carson area. i hope it does though.

my mom's birthday is tomorrow and i need to get her a card. she's one of those people who likes getting cards for any holiday. me and my dad are taking her to dinner on saturday.

i start school again on monday [and i just remembered i need to order my books o_o] and i don't know if i'm looking forward to it. sometimes i wish i didn't have to go to school anymore. i also have to finish my application for japan and i don't know if i want to finish it. it just seems tedious right now and i don't want to sit down and do it. bleh.

i can't believe 2009 is over! i remember a lot of what happened this year. i don't know if it's because i documented it with pictures or because the year felt kind of short. but i can remember something from each month.
january: disneyland with my mom.
february: valentine's day with george making gnocchi and griffith observatory.
march: disneyland for mike's birthday, red robin's for kelly's birthday, formal night.
april: an cafe concert with kelly and amanda.
may: star trek with a bunch of people and fanime.
june: ...i actually can't remember something from this month xD
july: ax of course, barbeque at kelly's, the invasion, working at the warehouse with alberto, kelly, cathy
august: boston, my birthday
september: D23 expo and pink concert with george
october: halloween get togethers
november: pmx
december: hangouts with cathy and new year's eve at disneyland

you get the idea. anyway, i hope to make this year just as memorable [like everyone else is saying] with lots of pictures, hangouts, and of course, disneyland.

i want to try to start something this year. it's an idea i got a couple months ago. i want to take my camera around and take at least one picture a day of something that made me smile and add it to an album i'll make on facebook. i got the idea when i was walking from my car to school one day and saw something someone wrote in the dust of a car that actually made me smile and actually chuckle a little. so yeah. i'll start now, in january, and continue it until the end of the year. let's see if i can =]

ALA is this weekend. i don't think i'm overly excited for it. i was more excited for pmx and i think i had more fun there with the dance and NOIZ. i think ALA will be more chill for me. except for the last day where me and kelly are planning to try and dress up for steampunk sunday. that's about it. bye!
