that time of the semester...

i absolutely hate it!

it's registration for the following semester. i ALWAYS get a late registration date so nearly all the classes i want to take/planning to take have been filled already. it's annoying as hell. i wasn't aware of how late my date was until today when i talked to a teacher in the a/st department. i was saying how alot of the classes i wanted were taken so it's harder to choose, especially since i have less GE classes to take now. she asked why i couldn't take the classes, i told her my reg date was today, and she said, "oh, that is late" =/
see! ugh. it's...just, ugh. i am never going to be able to take sign language. there's always only one class and it's seem to be a popular class so it's always filled quickly. WRJGB WRGHAW4IOEJFMAL/R3]igorjnnEJ OWEKRJG

T____T

i'm on waitlist for 3 classes that i most likely won't get into, but i'm on the list, just in case spaces open up. i don't want to cancel the classes just yet, because you never know, right? but one of them is the sign language class and the others are the bio lecture and bio lab. this bio class has a high rated teacher, so everyone went for her over the other guy. i'm on one more waitlist, but that's for the lab of another bio class which i'm actually in. ugh.
that's all i can say. ugh.

somewhat of a productive day?

so today after getting out of bed around 12:30, 1 and eating some left over pasta and watching the end of the red sox game, my dad convinces me to wash my car.

i pull up to the garage and he's showing me how to use the new power hose thing he got. he ends up rinsing AND washing my car! hahaha i just rinsed the soap off and dried. but then as i was wiping the inside of the windows down, i decided to vacuum the floor because it was pretty dirty. my car is now a lot cleaner than it was before! ^_________^
some stupid bird just better not poop on it because i'm parked under a wire.

yesterday i went to disneyland with kelly [i drove!] and met up with hatien and barbie. i love hanging out with them. i like hatien's laugh and humor. we were laughing all day, cracking jokes and going on with sarcastic conversations. hatien's friend, ann met up with us later and when we finally decided where to eat after about 30 mins, george surprises me by showing up. =] then kaylie and jennifer join us for dinner at rainforest cafe. i haven't eaten there in how many years and my macadamia crusted mahi mahi was delicious. everyone was so hungry.
we went back to disneyland and barely made it in time for the fireworks. we went on a couple rides and then got some ice cream. it wasn't a whole day, but it was close to it. we got there around noon i think? and left around 12:30. so tiring. it was tiring to drive back home.

that's about it. tomorrow i have no school because my only class is furloughed. but my mom remembered and is making me go into work a little ealier. i have a progress report for a paper due on wednesday and i haven't even began to start looking for sources. T-T
also, i got an email for some asian studies courses being offered in the summer. both are what i need for my major. one is offered during the may intercession, may 24-june 14. it doesn't seem that bad, but it's mon-thur from 6-9:30pm! everyday for 3 1/2 hours!! that's crazy. the second class is from july 12-aug 20 but i can't take that one because i'm planning to go to japan.
i dunno, i'm kinda maybe sort of considering taking the first class. but it's going to be hell. i wish i could have someone i know take it with me.

anyway, time for dinner. bye!

spring break: london!

so my spring break was last week, but i didn't get a chance to update.
for my spring break, i took a 4 1/2 day trip to london, england to visit lily!!! it was SO much fun.
it was so cool. i felt like i was in a movie the whole time. from the cars to the buildings to even the sidewalks. it was cold, rainy, and sometimes windy but i saw stereotypical london weather. lily said i brought the cold with me because they were having decent weather before.
i didn't do much shopping since i really had no space in my suitcase. i only bought some makeup things and some tights from topshop. i only wanted to buy things that wouldn't be available in the US. but since this was london, not tokyo, alot of the clothes looked like it might be available here anyway.
i did as much sightseeing as i could do in a few days with what energy i had, facing the cold. i saw big ben [which i flipped out at when i first saw], houses of parliament, the london eye, peter pan statue at kensington gardens, and buckingham palace. oh and i also went into the cemetery that was used in the sherlock holmes movie.
here are just a few of the pictures. the rest are all on facebook.
