quite a few people told us that it was more than what they were expecting and they enjoyed themselves and had fun! you don't know how happy that made me to hear that.
me and my date
i had a lot of fun once it got started. up until then though, was a different story. we were rushing and setting things up completely last minute. but it turned out okay later. it took awhile for people to start dancing but once we did, it was so fun. my stupid mask made my face sweaty and my darn dress kept slipping down. i think i need a better bra. and some super strong tape to keep the dress up.
anyways, everyone looked so nice and there were more people wearing masks than i thought! i didn't recognize a lot of people at the beginning...those masks really work! haha the food was really good too. people weren't expecting that kind of food and i wasn't expecting that MUCH food. there was SO much left over. we took them back to our room [i took the quiche] and i don't know what kelly and amanda did with the rest. our centerpieces looked really nice and the little bit of fabric we had hanging made it look a little bit for fancy. maybe next time we'll actually start preparing on time and have more fabric hanging.
...yes, that's right. next time. we are doing this again. i am dead set on throwing another masquerade ball next year. i don't care if i have to plan it all myself, i'm doing it. xD it was so fun and people genuinely seemed to enjoy it too, so why not? a few of us are already thinking of ways to improve it for next year.
so, the year is almost over. and i have no idea what i'm doing on new year's eve. none of us have any idea what to do. i hope we can think of something fun.
tomorrow night i'm going to raven's club, necropolis, again. a few of us went a couple weeks ago for "gothis lolita night" [they have a theme each week] and it was kinda fun and interesting. so we're gonna go again. guess what the theme is. cyber masquerade! hahahaha more masquerade fun! =]
happy new year!
