maayyyy!

i'm slacking on my may update. so here it goes:

the first weekend [coming in from april] was my work's las vegas vacation. it was very relaxing and a lot of fun. i sunbathed for the first time and it felt nice. i swear i almost fell asleep a couple times because it was so nice. we saw the Lion King show and wow, that was cool. i want to see it again. and of course i cried. once because i couldn't believe i was seeing it and it was so cool, and twice because of the ending when simba takes his place as king. the part gets me in the movie too. we also ate at great restaurants. the first night was at canaletto in the venetian and the second night was the eiffel tower restaurant in paris hotel. i definitely like italian food over french food xD

the next saturday was LMU's graduation. i was a bad friend and didn't make it to lily's graduation. but i did watch the live feed online and see her walk across and get her diploma. the next day was bats day where some shit went down but the end of the day got better.

the saturday after that me and kelly went to ren faire again. this time we hung out with kelly's friends jonathan and nicole. they were cool and had an interesting first time at camp. a lot of people were pretty drunk that day.

then it was finals week. i only had one sign language final so it wasn't stressful at all. pretty sure i passed even though he hasn't posted the grades yet. i'm taking the second half next semester. i've also started thinking about going into sign language as a...job? MAYBE after i finish my american studies at long beach, i'll take more ASL classes somewhere [like el camino] and get a certificate or something more than just two intro classes. that's something i've always had an interest in and wouldn't mind learning more about.

oh yeah, on that monday, chris took us to the cast member preview for the new star tours. it was so cool! it's supposed to give you different places every time you ride. and it's in 3D this time!

anyways, that following saturday chris had tickets to the cast member preview for the little mermaid ride so four of us went. it was such a cute ride. kinda different, but very cute. we got to ride it twice because there was no line! we were going to watch the aladdin show but it had just started and there weren't anymore seats. i don't get why they don't have late saturday shows anymore. but instead we went on tower of terror. apparently chris is scared of that ride. she'll go on it, but is scared of it. it was kind of funny sitting next to her while she whined during the beginning waiting for everything to happen. i like it because it's a total stress reliever after school's over.

then it was back to ren faire on sunday. it was the last day and kelly wanted to go again xD. this time we ran into an elementary school friend and her friend and hung out with them half the time. and i got a henna tattoo! it's on my hand and i think it looks really cool =P.

this week is just work [that i know of] and saturday i won tickets to the ap holders preview of star tours. i'm taking george, kelly and tony. i wonder what places we'll go to this time. it's also fiesta weekend at SAPS but me and kelly are only working on sunday. i don't know if we'll go any other day.
